Mad Park Community is a grassroots movement rooted in Charleston, South Carolina, dedicated to breaking down health barriers for families and youth. We believe that wellness is a birthright, not a privilege, and our work is centered around making fitness, nutrition, and emotional well-being accessible to all. Through engaging programs, hands-on education, and real-world solutions, we empower families to take ownership of their health and build a foundation of wellness that extends for generations. Our goal is to create sustainable pathways to better health, ensuring that every child, parent, and educator has the tools they need to thrive."We are not just an organization—we are a movement led by communities, for communities. We believe that true change happens when families, educators, and youth are given the tools to make wellness a generational way of life."

Founder's Story
Stephanie Harvey, a Charleston native, grew up witnessing both the power of community and the lack of access to essential wellness resources. Inspired by her father, who transformed his home into a fitness space for local youth, Stephanie developed a deep appreciation for the role that health and mentorship play in shaping lives. She saw firsthand how movement, nutrition, and emotional support can change the trajectory of a person’s future. With that passion, she founded MAD PARK—not as an organization that provides handouts, but as a community-driven movement that empowers people to take control of their well-being and pass it on for generations to come.Stephanie Harvey founded MAD PARK to create sustainable, community-driven wellness solutions. Inspired by the gaps in access to fitness, nutrition, and mental health resources, Stephanie built a platform where families take the lead in their own wellness journey.
